How do you make those designs on top of the truffles?

The designs are silk screened, cocoa butter transfers. They work like a temporary tattoo for food and are totally edible!

Do you have any vegan chocolates?

Yes! Our Single Origin Tasting Squares, Midwest Bar, Southwest Bar, Great Plains Bar, and Alexandria Bar are all vegan!

Do you have any sugar free chocolates?

No. We do not make any sugar free chocolates.

What is soya lecithin?

Lecithin is extracted from soybeans and is well known as an emulsifier. Because chocolate contains no water, it is not an emulsion, but rather a suspension of solid particles in fat. The function of lecithin in chocolate is not emulsification but viscosity reduction; a very small amount of lecithin greatly reduces the viscosity of melted chocolate, improving its ability to flow.

Do you except returns or exchanges?

Due to health implications, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for unwanted orders. If, however, something is wrong with your order, please, call us, and we will take care of it. 703-838-9055.

How do you guys ship?

In order to be sure that your purchase arrives in peak condition, we use gel packs and insulated padding during the majority of the year. The insulated boxes will protect the chocolates for a few hours, but it is recommended that someone be home to accept delivery. If there are any doubts, please, feel free to give us a call. Currently, we are unable to ship outside the continental US.

Generally, we only ship our chocolates Monday through Wednesday so that they will reach their destination before the end of the week. Fleurir Chocolates continues to make everything by hand and in small batches in order to ensure absolute chocolate perfection. Consequently, depending on stock levels and the production schedule, it can take up to 5 business days to process your order. If you need your chocolates by a certain day, please give us a call, and we will find a way to make it happen.

We cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by weather, mechanical failures, or any other acts beyond our control.

During the warmer Months we will only offer Warm Weather Shipping.
